Feeding the Hungry
Early in our farming journey, we knew we wanted to use the land to bless others in the community. One of the obvious ways was to start a community garden, where we could join forces with others in Brighton and the surrounding communities to provide food for the hungry in our local area. In 2015, we joined forces with the Livingston Country Hunger Council, Gleaners Community Food Bank in Howell, and Food Pantries in Farmington Hills. Our donations that first year totaled over 3,500 pounds.
